“Walking a labyrinth doesn’t always have to be quiet and serene.” ~ Linda Wallace, Yoga Teacher and Labyrinth Builder
WALKING + YOGA = SERIOUS, NOT!
Linda Wallace says that a great misconception about a labyrinth walk is that you’ve got to be quiet and serene. Her advice: that’s not the only way to do it. Wallace mixes scavenger hunts, coded messages and other games into the 'walking a labyrinth' experience. "You may stop and talk with others simply to share your joy or some thoughts about the beautiful surroundings. It’s okay to walk a labyrinth and be like a kid at times, laughing and having fun. That’s the way life’s supposed to be!"
For example, here are some of Wallace’s students using wiggle cars she provides for them to walk the indoor labyrinth at her Raven Yoga Studio.
