Part 5: Can You Walk & Chew Gum Do Yoga?

“I’ve been an athlete my whole life but always hated exercise. Yoga is the only thing I’ve been able to do every day—along with walking my labyrinths.” ~ Linda Wallace, Yoga Teacher and Labyrinth Builder

LABYRINTH WALKER-YOGA TEACHER
Linda Wallace is what we at Walktopia would call “in the walkmix”. She’s a prolific labyrinth builder who designed and installed the labyrinth pictured here -- it's on her scenic Tucson, AZ property. She's also a yoga teacher who creates common ground (pun intended) between walking and yoga. After five years of design-build work, Wallace just opened the doors to her new yoga studio (pictured below).

HOW'D SHE GET STARTED?
An avid bowler since youth, Wallace says she only considered taking yoga when someone mentioned it might help boost her bowling score! Today, she enjoys a yoga following that keeps on growing. A big part of her success is the welcoming and stimulating environment she’s created using labyrinths, mazes, waterfalls and a major focus on FUN.
