As I forked over an ungodly amount of money to insure that four packages traveled cross-country to arrive just in the nick of time before the holidays, the post office retail clerk chastised me for not taking care of things sooner. What could I say? "It's been that kind of year," I thought to myself. Out loud I mumbled something about circumstances and life events but the truth is the holiday mailing was typical of my "right down to the wire", "nearly missed it but didn't", "git r done" year.
Actually, I feel good because while in this "just-in-time mode", I've met some amazing people, risen to some key challenges, reorganized some priorities and vaporized some false beliefs--all with one stellar result: founding Walktopia. Looking at it that way, my 2005 was an exhilirating rush.
