WB's Advice: About Short Walks

As a recovering couch potato, my natural tendency is toward inertia. One impetus to get off the derriere is the idea that fun and beneficial exercise doesn't have to take a lot of time. Supporting that notion and getting us walking again is the About.com Guide to Walking, Wendy Bumgardner.

She frequently posts about things like attitude, motivation and commitment to walk in addition to news of events, resource lists or gear recommendations. Her recent entry, 'Short Brisk Walks Help Blood Pressure' shares research that says short walks are a good thing. Included are links to additional articles where Wendy addresses questions about the effectiveness of short walks for weight loss.

Thanks, WB!
